9-12th Two Week Acting Intensive

Session is designed for students entering 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade, and 2025 graduated seniors.
Dates: June 9 - 20 | 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Tuition: $625
This two-week intensive is designed for actors seeking to deepen their connection to the craft of theatre. Participants will receive expert guidance and feedback from Theatre Aspen faculty and industry professionals, gaining essential tools to explore and embody character work. Each camp day features masterclasses focused on classical and contemporary playwrights, movement for actors, and refining acting techniques including viewpoints, Stanislavsky, Meisner, and Laban. This intensive aims to enhance individual audition monologue selections while exploring groundbreaking playwrights through dynamic scene work. The two weeks all culminate in a showcase, where actors present monologues and scenes honed throughout the program.

K-1st Program #1: Lil' Peanuts

Session is designed for students entering Kindergarten & 1st Grade
Dates: June 9 - 13 | 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Good Grief! Step into the world of Charlie Brown and friends for our fun-filled first week of camp, inspired by the hit musical You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown. Since 1950, Charles Schulz’s iconic Peanuts characters have captured the hearts of both kids and adults. Join Snoopy, Linus, Lucy, and the rest of the gang as we bring these beloved personalities to life in a one-of-a-kind, original performance! Get ready for an unforgettable week of laughter, creativity, and timeless Peanuts fun!

5-8th DOUBLE-HEADER Skill Camp #1: Project Mad Lab (Afternoon)

Session is designed for students entering 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th grade.
Dates: June 9 - 13 | 1:15 - 4:00 pm (PM, Project Mad Lab)
Tuition: $225 (increased tuition fee due to materials cost)
A camp to expand minds and inescapable infrastructure … In this DOUBLE-HEADER camp, Project Mad Lab dominates the afternoon. In this exciting session, campers will invent mind-bending labyrinths and fortresses using cardboard, paper products, and paint. This camp emphasizes the power of design and ends in an immersive haunted-house-style experience for friends and family.
Back by popular demand! Theatre Aspen Double-Header Skill Camps dive into two core skills for actors. Students are given the opportunity to attend either the morning session or afternoon session or register for both to unlock a full day gaining insight into two facets of the performing arts. These camps are fast-paced and provide dynamic challenges for middle school students. Double the skills, double the fun!
Please note: Actors in the morning and afternoon sessions spend the same amount of time engaging with their respective skills. The morning session takes a 30-minute snack break which accounts for the time difference between the two skill camps.

2-4th: DANCE Your Pants Off

Session is designed for students entering 2nd, 3rd, & 4th grade
Dates: June 16-20 | 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Tuition: $395
You can’t stop the beat… and why would you want to? Strap on your dancing shoes for this high-energy camp! In this week-long session, campers will explore the varying genres of dance found in Broadway’s greatest musicals. From the golden age through modern classics, all participants will leave with a well-rounded overview of Musical Theatre dance. Campers will not only hone their technique but work as a team to create their own choreography. This week culminates in a showcase of all the routines we have perfected and created throughout the week.

Session is designed for students entering 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th grade.

This DOUBLE-HEADER offering is perfect for the witty, wisecracking jokester in your life. Spend your morning learning crucial comedy skills and techniques through improv. Campers are encouraged to let loose their wildest characters through gameplay and made-up scene work.

Discover the Untold Story of the Witches of Oz! Dive into the world of Wicked the Musical and gain insight into the worlds of Glinda and Elphaba, The “Wicked” Witch of the West. In this camp, campers will ride around on magic broomsticks, design a dazzling Emerald City, and join Shiz University’s latest class of munchkins. Belt out iconic songs that will have your fellow campers green with envy, and embark on a magical adventure that’s sure to be wickedly fun!

This DOUBLE-HEADER offering is perfect for the witty, wisecracking jokester in your life. Campers spend the afternoon navigating their comedic voice through writing and developing sketch comedy scenes. This session concludes with a showcase of these comedic sketches that will leave audiences roaring with laughter.

2-4th TWO WEEK PRODUCTION #1: The Emperor’s New Clothes

Session is designed for students entering 2nd, 3rd, & 4th grade
Dates: June 23 - July 3rd | 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
No Camp July 4th
Tuition: $625
Join us for two weeks of royal flair as we bring the hilarious tale of The Emperor’s New Clothes to life! Campers will dive into the world of the vain emperor, the mischievous tailors, and a town full of colorful characters. Over two weeks of camp, participants will build confidence and teamwork skills while discovering the joy of storytelling. All culminating in a fabulous performance, as impressive as the Emperor’s "new clothes!"
Back by popular demand! In our Two Week Production Camps, 2nd-4th Graders will have a chance to put a show on their feet including auditioning for characters, memorizing lines and songs, and working with costumes, props, and a set! The Emperor’s New Clothes is a play and will have acting and may have some singing and/or movement. Please note, not all actors will need to sing or dance. In their camp day, participants will have rehearsal, creative design, and outdoor game time as a cast.
This camp will take place over two weeks, with our performance on Wednesday, July 2nd. There is no camp on Friday, July 4th, but we will meet on the 3rd. To accommodate families who may take the long weekend to travel, the performance is on the 2nd, and July 3rd will be a camp-wide field day.
